FBK trees celebrated with art show

FALLBROOK — An upcoming solo art show for Carly Castillon will “Celebrate Fallbrook Trees” at Fallbrook Fine Art gallery.

Castillon, a graduate of Fallbrook High, has taken as her current models the amazing trees of the area. The star of the show is a 48”x36” oil of “Fallbrook’s Fabulous Fig,” the massive tree on Ammunition Road next to Carl’s Junior.

An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fallbrook Fine Art, 128 North Main Avenue. For more information, call (760) 728-0700 or e-mail [email protected].

The show runs through May 30. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
