Battle of the Bands ignites April 21

The inaugural Battle of the Bands will take place at Fallbrook Community Center on Saturday, April 21. Beginning at 1 p.m., 11 groups will compete for a first place cash award of $200, other prizes and bragging rights.

Slated to perform are Demolisha at 1 p.m., FBMOB at 1:20, Forward Motion at 2, Dead Sled Demons at 2:20, Lost Haven at 3, Constantine at 3:20, The Crash Kids at 4, Narcissus Dethroned at 4:20, Surfing Socrates at 5, The Scallywags at 5:20 and Lazy 8 at 6. (Schedule is subject to change.)

Admission is $2. Food and refreshments will be available.
