Garden tour coming May 12

On Saturday, May 12, from 12 to 4 p.m., the Fallbrook Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will present its 12th annual Country Garden Tour of premier Fallbrook gardens. Featured will be several gardens that hold back on the water, and that is a good thing in this very dry season. In addition there will be flower-laden paths to stroll down and even a celebrity rose garden, so put on your hat and walking shoes and join other garden admirers.

The tour will begin at the historic Palomares House at 1815 South Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook, where self-guided maps will be available as well as complimentary refreshments. The tickets will be sold at the door and all proceeds go to local scholarships awarded by AAUW. Vendors selling garden-related items will be there also for your shopping pleasure.
