Alex Prud'homme to be featured at Friends of Library luncheon

FALLBROOK — The Friends of the Fallbrook Library have announced that Alex Prud’homme, co-author of “My Life in France,” will be the guest speaker at their annual luncheon and silent auction on Friday, April 27. Supervisor Bill Horn will be present as a special guest. The luncheon and silent auction will take place at Pala Mesa Resort.

Prud’homme co-authored “My Life in France” with Julia Child. The book, published in April 2006, tells the story of Child’s life in postwar Paris and Marseilles and is the Fallbrook Community Read selection for 2007. Prud’homme, Child’s grand-nephew, will discuss his collaboration with Child and the writing of this book and others.

Ticket sales benefit the Fallbrook Library Building Fund. Further information may be obtained by calling Peggy Kesterson at (760) 451-8686.
