UltraStar to reopen May 4 with 'Spider-Man 3'

BONSALL — UltraStar Galaxy Cinemas temporarily closed its doors April 16 and plans to re-open them May 4 as the new UltraStar River Village Cinemas. The newly renovated theater will open for the premiere of “Spider-Man 3” on three screens. Grand re-opening festivities will continue through May 10.

The new UltraStar River Village Cinemas will be a state-of-the-art movie-plex with all auditoriums equipped with Pure Digital Cinema powered by DLP Cinema Technology. New theater features include: luxurious high-back reclining seats with padded retractable armrests, more leg room in each aisle, beautiful new acoustical paneling in each auditorium, a completely remodeled concession stand serving kettle corn, renovated bathrooms and box office and new carpeting. Upgrades have also been made to the soundsystems, picture imaging and in-lobby entertainment systems.
