Thank you to local merchants

Marilyn Fine and I would like to publicly thank the 65 (yes, 65!) local merchants from Fallbrook who donated products, services and/or cash for our annual Rally for the Cure golf tournament. Thanks to their support, our Fallbrook Women Golfers golf club was able to raise over $4,100. The funds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, funding research for the cure for breast cancer.

We know these merchants receive requests daily for donations. We also know they have to say “no” to some – thanks for not saying “no” to us.

We gave a printed list of all our donors to our membership so they can be reminded of who donated. And Marilyn and I go out of our way to patronize these merchants to say “thank you” in the only way that really counts – giving them our business.

I am new to Fallbrook (six years) but I am proud to be a part of this “friendly” community.
