Thank you to volunteers and organizations

The Annual Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt was held at Fallbrook Community Center on Saturday, April 7. The event was a big success thanks to volunteer help and donations from many organizations.

Fallbrook Firefighters Association members and Explorer Scouts served up another fantastic pancake breakfast. They rounded up equipment and food from Major Market and served a tasty breakfast to over 250 people. Volunteers from the National Charity League created Easter table centerpieces, loaded over 1,000 Easter eggs, provided the Easter Bunny and helped with egg hunts and games for over 300 children.

Major Market provided thousands of jelly beans and 144 Easter baskets at cost. Pala Mesa Resort loaned stakes and rope to secure a safe egg hunt area. North County Welding Supply donated coupons and gift certificates that were used as game prizes. We also had a visit from the Hometown Buffet “Busy Bee.”

Fallbrook Village Rotary and Friends of Fallbrook Community Center and San Diego County Parks teamed up as event sponsors.

Thanks and congratulations are in order to all these organizations for their help in making this a fun and memorable community event!
