Warrior Lacrosse competes in Santana High Tournament

While most people were kicking back over spring break, the Fallbrook Warrior varsity lacrosse team was finishing up their tournament at Santana High School in Santee.

There were eight teams; each played three games. While the JV boys won all their games and finished as first place champions, the varsity team had a tougher time. Their first game was lost to Bonita Vista with a score of 8-10. However, they won their next two games: a 7-6 victory over Otay Ranch and an 8-5 win over Santana High. Varsity finished the tournament in fifth place.

With the season half over, the Warriors still have a few tough teams to take on, as their division has some of the top ranked teams in the league. Friday, April 27, the boys travel to compete against La Costa Canyon.

The next home game will be on April 30 against San Marcos. The public is welcome to come out and cheer on the teams. JV starts at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 at the Fallbrook High football stadium.
