Appreciating cultures

Members of Ballet Folklorico Esperanza de Fallbrook, dressed in beautiful costumes, balance candles on their heads while performing at the Cinco de Mayo event held May 6 at Zeke Weaver Field in Fallbrook. The event was sponsored by The Front Porch Project, a subcommittee of the Fallbrook Citizens’ Crime-Prevention/Neighborhood Rehab Committee.

Ballet Folklorico Esperanza members William Diaz, Jessica Leon, Gemma Aguilar, Anthony Pineda, Lupe Locra, Cesar Locra, Jose Perez, Adalberto Perez and Alejandro Aguilar provided spectacular entertainment for the Cinco de Mayo event. Also providing entertainment were a reggae band, mariachi singers and Irish and Russian dancers.
