52nd Annual Youth Fair

FALLBROOK- The Fallbrook High School Ag Department will be the site of the 52nd Annual Fallbrook Youth Fair May 19 and 20. This traditional event features youth of the community competing among themselves by showing various livestock projects, arts, crafts, shop projects, and home economics projects. The livestock projects will include competition in lambs, goats, swine and beef. The Fair allows the youth to learn how to exhibit their animals and is an overall positive experience for everyone. Both FFA and 4-H will compete in this event.

An old-fashioned Pancake Breakfast will be offered by the Fallbrook 4H Relay For Life team from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Ag department both mornings of the Youth Fair. Major Market and Mike’s Meats (of Oceanside) are the sponsors of this event; a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

There will also be a Plant Sale held both days offered by youth that are involved in the Fallbrook FFA Nursery Program. Come see the great selection of bedding plants, shrubs, trees, perennial color, ground cover and house plants plus certified organic vegetables and herbs donated by a local nursery. The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
