Clark to play for Mira Costa

OCEANSIDE- Mira Costa College Men’s Basketball Coach Pat Conahan announced a commitment from Corey Clark to play for the Spartans during the upcoming 2007-2008 season.

Clark, a senior captain for Fallbrook High School, is a 6’2” point guard who led the Warriors in scoring and assists during the tough Avocado League season. He average nearly 15 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds per game. He is a three-time member of the Union Tribune San Diego County All Academic Team and was the second leading scorer in the Avocado, Palomar, and Valley League All Star game held last month. Clark is a three sport athlete who played football last fall and is currently competing on the volleyball team.

Mira Costa Coach Pat Conahan said, “Corey is exactly the type of person we want to have at Mira Costa. He fits our system perfectly. Corey will bring intelligence and toughness to our program and will contribute to an improved record for our team next season.”
