Retired teachers presenting scholarships

On Monday, May 21, California Retired Teachers Division 81 will present four $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and second-year Palomar Junior College students who plan to become teachers. A luncheon will be held at the Olympic Hotel in Carlsbad at 10:45 a.m. Call Lucile Reeder at (760) 728-3879 by May 16 for reservations. Anyone interested in education is welcome.
