Lorena Barraza greatly missed

I am very distressed to hear of Lorena Barraza’s sudden passing [Village News, Obituaries, 4/26/07]. My heart is broken for her dear family. This little girl (when I knew her), back when she and my son were in middle school together, had a cheery smile and a genuine kindness and goodness about her. She always said hello to me in the supermarket or at church.

God bless her. She’s in Heaven watching over us, but how I wish she could have lived the life she was destined to live. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy to her mother, father and sisters.
