Post office continues to mishandle mail

Once again I was in the (long) line at Fallbrook Post Office and observed another customer present one of the yellow cards (placed in post office boxes to indicate mail too large for the box is being held in the back room) to the clerk only to be told, after the clerk “checked” in the back room, “we can’t find anything.”

The same thing happened to me, for the third time this year, the week before. This mail, containing bills, checks, and more, typically surfaces weeks or months later with no explanation.

When are people going to complain loudly enough to the US Postal Service about the Fallbrook Post Office so that better management is provided for this location?

I am personally sick and tired of the devil-may-care attitude these people display and the atrocious handling of mail that takes place.

Whenever possible, I am using e-mail, UPS and Fed Ex, (and encouraging everyone I know to do the same) rather than contribute another dime to this sub-standard operation.
