Foreign Policy expert to speak at Democratic Club meeting

FALLBROOK- Dr. Chalmers Johnson, distinguished scholar, best-selling author and expert on US foreign policy, will address a special event June 2 hosted as a community service by the Fallbrook Democratic Club. It will be followed by a question and answer session and book signing of his just released best-seller “Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic,” in which he argues that US military and economic overreach may actually lead to the nation’s collapse as a constitutional republic.

Widely regarded as one of the premier scholars in the field of Asian Studies, he is founder and president of the Japan Policy Research Institute and author of more than seventeen books.
