Three car shows at SD County Fair this year

DEL MAR-Three different car shows will delight auto lovers this year at the San Diego County Fair. There will be a daily show outside Surfside Race Place with different cars from San Diego County car clubs. These cars will be on display from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., changing everyday throughout the course of the Fair.

Local car clubs will range from Jeep clubs to Corvette clubs, and will showcase a wide array of favorites. Each day viewers can vote for their top three favorites. The daily “People’s Choice Award” winners will be invited back on July 4, the final day of the Fair, when the San Diego Automotive Museum chooses an overall winner.

Two other shows will take place inside Surfside Race Place. The first show, “American Legends,” will showcase legendary and landmark productions throughout American automotive history. This show will run June 13 - June 24.

The second show to take place inside Surfside Race Place, “Too Kool,” will showcase hobby cars such as hot rods and other customized automobiles. During this show, visitors will see a wide array of specialized and “tricked out” cars. This show will run from June 26 - July 4.
