James W. Freeman

James W. Freeman, 90, passed away May 24, 2007, in Hemet, CA. Born April 14, 1918, in Blue Ridge, GA, he was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 55 years.

Mr. Freeman was the owner of Fallbrook Barbershop for 40 years. He was in the US Army Air Force as an aerial tail gunner from 1944-46; was a member and song leader of Fallbrook Church of Christ; and loved music, playing guitar and harmonica.

He is survived by son Darryl Freeman, Vista, CA; daughters Tyrene Jones, Lake Elsinore, CA, and Antoinette Freeman, Oceanside, CA; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held May 29, 2007, at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
