Gift shop funds scholarship

Esther Gonsalves, manager of the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary’s Gift Shop, displays one of several designs of tote bags offered at the shop. Other quality merchandise includes greeting cards, plush animals, fresh flower arrangements and popular revolving aquatic lamps. All profits from shop sales go to the Auxiliary’s scholarship fund averaging about $12,000 a year.

The Gift Shop is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Members of the Senior Circle receive a 10% discount. Auxiliary Volunteer Gonsalves has been involved in the management of the Gift Shop for 17 years.
