FFA learns from Relay For Life

As the school year slowly comes to an end, the Ag. Department is roaring with excitement getting ready for the San Diego County Fair, which is only 18 days away.

Last Saturday and Sunday, the Fallbrook FFA “Aggies for a Cure” participated in the Relay For Life. We raised close to $6,000 for the American Cancer Society and took home first place for the most donations out of 28 teams.

All of the members who participated in the relay have had life-changing experiences from hearing stories of cancer survivors and keeping those people in our hearts and memories. This is something the participants will never forget, as we walked for 24 hours and knew that every step made a difference.

We thank everyone for their gracious donations and may we all hope this can make us one step closer to a cure.
