Kathleen Scharf

Kathleen Scharf, 52, passed away May 30, 2007, in 29 Palms. She was born on October 24, 1954, in Springfield, OH.aa

After graduating from high school, she did a brief stint in the US Army. She moved to Fallbrook in 1976 and resided there until 2003. She and her husband, Bill, were married at the historic Capra Ranch in 1982, where they worked as property managers for the Cal Tech Institute. They returned to 29 Palms in 2003.

Kathleen was a woman of exceptional skills and talents, being extremely artistic, humorous, athletic (an avid backpacker and outdoor woman), but most of all, known for her compassion and kindness. She was the mother of two sons, Jason and Joseph. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Café de Artistes.
