Walters celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Fred and Sharon Walters celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Campland on the Bay in San Diego over the three-day Memorial Day weekend with family and friends.

The couple was married in Long Beach, CA, on June 1, 1957, and have three sons, Howard Walters (and Angie) of La Habra, CA; Jeff Walters (and R’Ronda) of West Covina, CA; and Mark Walters (and Casey) of Fallbrook, CA. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Fred is retired from a career in tool and dye manufacturing and Sharon is the former owner of Quilter’s Cottage in Fallbrook. They have lived in Fallbrook for more than 25 years.

A great time was had by all celebrating Fred and Sharon’s ability to “keep the home fires and the campfires burning” for 50 years!
