Piano students pass the test

Fallbrook musicians played selections ranging from “The Bagatelle” to “The Two-Cent Boogie” at a recent recital at the Piano Center in Temecula, which donated the use of its facility. The spring recital featured local pianists who study with Fallbrook residents Jeri Palmer and Carol Saltz. The teachers performed several duets to open and close the program.

Following the entertainment, students were recognized for passing their annual Certificate of Merit examinations. On two separate days, the students’ knowledge of piano theory and their playing techniques are rated. Sarah Spears, a level 7 student, scored 100 percent on her theory test.
