Real estate professional Jo Ann Rapaszky: proficient and respected

In the last 27 years, Jo Ann Rapaszky has earned a reputation as a respected real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Landmark Group. Being a resident in the Fallbrook area for over 35 years has inevitably immersed Rapaszky in her proficient knowledge of the area.

“I got into the real estate industry because I had two small children to raise,” said Rapaszky. The hours in this particular field gave her the flexibility to be an attentive and active mother.

Over the years, one thing has not changed. Rapaszky still enjoys what she does. “I love houses; I love property.” She expressed how this particular industry gave her independence, and at the same time, the freedom to work with the people she wanted to work with.

Aside from having such remarkable real estate wisdom, Rapaszky continues to pay detailed attention to her clients. She admitted how delighted she becomes when her patrons realize that their real estate dreams have become a reality.

“It’s a real high when things work out for folks,” she said.

First and foremost, Rapaszky has been noted for putting her customers’ needs first and championing their best interest. Establishing a friendship rapport with her clientele is what makes her business so noteworthy. This is why she has such loyal customers.

Rapaszky cherishes her assistant, Cathy Kudroshoff, who has not only been a wonderful help to Rapaszky for the last eight years but has also been invaluable to their clientele. “We have been a great team, and I just adore Cathy,” Rapaszky said.

The life of a real estate agent can also mean long hours. In order to rejuvenate herself, Rapaszky takes ballet classes a few times per week. She has been studying ballet for the last 16 years.

“I love ballet,” said Rapaszky, whose glow became even more radiant when mentioning dance.

She mentally devours not just the discipline itself but the music and intellect that is weaved within the dance. Likewise, the benefits of the aerobics and stretching in ballet are tremendous. Before Rapaszky put on her ballet slippers for the very first time, she always considered herself a klutz. However, she surprised herself when a hidden talent and passion was revealed. “You really have to think on your feet,” she said, laughing.

Her zealousness for the arts has trickled into her charitable contributions in the Fallbrook community. For example, Rapaszky purchased the lovely antique bronze ballerina statue for the Fallbrook Village Association. This artwork is located at the Ballet Society, in honor of her daughter, Rochelle, who is an accomplished dancer.

While Rapaszky’s daughters have relocated to Seattle and San Francisco, she finds that Fallbrook is still home to her. “This is a pretty special place to be,” she said, smiling.
