Cinco de Mayo participation appreciated

Some individuals are privileged to experience in a lifetime a rare occurrence of “true community spirit that crosses all boundaries.” On short notice, less than a week, as co-chair of the Cinco de Mayo Festival on May 6, we had to come up with $900 for an unexpected expense for this event. I e-mailed all the churches in Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow asking for their financial help. I would like to share with our community that St. John’s Anglican Church, Hilltop Center for Spiritual Living, United Methodist Church and Zion Lutheran Church raised $600 in four days.
