Poet's Square Speeders

I live on Almond Street and I am very tired of the people who live in Poet’s Square and their excessive speeds on Almond. There are many little children who live on this street and the speed limit in a housing area is 25 mph, not 45-plus.

Especially annoying is the motorcyclist who roars up the street between 11:45 and midnight almost every night. The Highway Patrol used to monitor our street and I wish they would start again. They could make their “quota” of speeders by just parking on Hill and Almond.

I think all of us on Almond should write the county and request speed bumps. One child on our street was already hit by a car down on Mission. Please, you folks up there on the “Hill,” slow down! Thank you.
