Reche Club thanks supporters

The Reche Community Club wishes to thank the many people who contributed to the success of our first Spaghetti Dinner. This was the second fundraiser of the year, the first being our Chicken Pot Pie Dinner held in October. As you may know, the club members are dedicated to the upkeep of the buildings and grounds of one of the oldest one-room schoolhouses in North County.

We are deeply indebted to Rose Palculick, who made the delicious sauce; Linda White, who donated her special salad dressing; and to Major Market for their several donations. None of these fine people are members of the Reche Community Club and still wanted to do their part in helping.

Thanks also to the many members of the club who spent many hours in preparation for the dinner. We wouldn’t have been so successful if it weren’t for the servers from the Community Baptist Church Youth Group. Three young men from Calvary Chapel helped, too, as did the granddaughters of Shirley Keist and Doris Ham.

Last, but not least, thanks to those who attended our function and seemed to enjoy it. It’s a pleasure to work with a community that supports a local organization like the Reche Community Club.
