Warriors say thank you

Fallbrook Union High School and the Athletic Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to the dozens of volunteers who helped out at the annual Sports Physical Night on Wednesday, May 23, at the high school.

A special thank you goes out to the doctors who donated their time for a great cause: Dr. Brodack, Dr. Gillis, Dr. Newman, Dr. Smutz and Doctor Jovanovich. Additionally, we thank the firemen who assisted with the evening before being called off to duty: Greg Wilson, Stephen Gresoro and Brian Macmillan. Furthermore, physical therapist Bill Atkins and his group from Fallbrook Physical Therapy assisted with the event, as always.

Additionally, a big thank you goes out to the countless number of parent volunteers, FUHS staff volunteers and the several students who helped serve nearly 380 student athletes in just under a three-hour span. Student athletes were able to have their physical completed and all paperwork turned in for just $10. Those students are now clear to participate in athletics for the 2007-2008 school year, as long as they stay academically eligible.

Athletic packets are now available at the athletics office on the high school campus for those athletes who missed Sports Physical Night. Please check the Web site http://www.fallbrookhs.org for more information or call us at (760) 723-6300, ext. 3610. We can also be reached by e-mail at [email protected].

Thanks again to all those who made the night a success. Best of luck to our athletes in the coming year.

John Hayek

Athletic Director,

Fallbrook High School
