Maurer-Bostrom wed

Laura Ashley Maurer and Andrew Blake Bostrom were married on April 21. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Fallbrook High School. The couple met while both attending the University of the Pacific. Andrew is from Lynden, WA.

Laura arrived at the ceremony by horse-drawn coach escorted by her father, Jerry Maurer. The bride wore a strapless ivory gown with beading on the bodice, cascading into a ballroom gown with a cathedral train. She carried a variety of pink flowers. Her bridesmaids wore strapless mint green dresses that complimented the bride’s gown. Each attendant carried a bouquet of a single type of flower found in the bride’s bouquet.

The evening garden wedding was held by the heart-shaped lake of the Grand Tradition. One hundred sixty guests attended the ceremony and dinner. The guests were welcomed to the event by a string quartet.

The Maid of Honor was Sarah Ellen James of Carlsbad. The bridesmaids were Gina Cazale, Suzy Peterson, Lizzie Delaney, Camille Schulte, Avery Bostrom and Jen Klein. The Best Man was Matt DeBoer of Yucaipa. The groomsmen were Kyle Clark, Adam Raudsep, Jeffery Fujimoto, Marc Rowe, Richard Rose III and Brian Sandgren. Flower girl was Ashley Umbenhaur. Ring bearer was Anders Bostrom. Pastor Kirk Bottomly and Steve Burdick officiated. Greg Coppock and Julie Battenfield sang a duet.

On June 3, a wedding reception and luncheon was held at the Homestead Farms Golf Resort in Lynden, WA, for 175 guests, friends and family unable to attend the wedding.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica. Andrew is a professional golfer and Laura is a dental hygienist. They make their home in Scottsdale, AZ.
