St. Peter's Council to host Battle of the Bands

FALLBROOK — St. Peter’s Council for Christian Unity will sponsor a Battle of the Bands musical competition on September 22 from 12 to 7 p.m. It will be held at St. Peter’s Education Center Sports Field at 450 South Stage Coach Lane. The event is open to all bands playing all types of music. Contestants must be between 13 and 19 years of age.

Awards will be presented to the bands winning first ($500), second ($300) and third ($200) place. All competitors must submit a completed application, band photo and CD or cassette tape with at least three songs to St. Peter’s Church office at 450 South Stage Coach Lane. Entries must be received by August 20 at 5 p.m.
