Field hockey camp to be held June 18-20

The Fallbrook Field Hockey Camp will be held June 18-20 at Fallbrook High School’s field hockey field.

The purpose of the camp is two-fold; it is a tryout for the fall 2007 high school field hockey season and is also a skill development camp for incoming freshman and younger students.

Kathy Waite, the coach of Fallbrook High School’s varsity field hockey team, will be the head coach at the camp. She will be assisted by four former Fallbrook High School players: former Cal player Kirstin Kuszmaul, current University of the Pacific players Brianna Cummins and Melody Demel, and 2007 graduate Lauren Woods (who will be joining Cummins and Demel at UOP).

Although aspirants for the 2007 varsity and junior varsity squads can try out on June 20 without attending the camp, the June 18 and June 19 sessions provide a head start for those who register for the camp. The cost of the camp is $80.
