Arnold completes Eagle Project

Local Boy Scout Daniel Arnold, 15, completed his Eagle project at Fallbrook Street School on Saturday, June 9. He had about 34 helpers, including most of his troop and several leaders and parents.

The project was to remove sod and dirt around planter boxes at the school near the first grade classes, leveling the ground and then laying down red and gray brick pavers, making a checkered pattern over 500 square feet. These pavers were needed so the students wouldn’t have to use their planters in the mud.

Arnold said he is thankful for the individuals who helped him and donations from the Angel Society and Dr. Kenneth Whitworth of Temecula.
