Senior Circle hosting osteoporosis talk

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook chapter of the Senior Circle will be hosting a talk entitled “Osteoporosis: What it Means” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 26. Dr. Brian Tyson, Graybill Medical Group and member of Fallbrook Hospital Medical Staff, will discuss what osteoporosis is, the causes, the risk factors that can be changed and those that cannot be changed and the steps to prevent bone loss.

Dr. Tyson is board certified in family medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Loma Linda University and his medical degree from the American University of Caribbean, including one year of training in Waterford, Ireland. His affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

The event is open to the public and will be held at Silvergate, 420 Elbrook Drive. Refreshments will be served and there will be a drawing for door prizes. Seating is limited. Call Jan Mangus at (760) 731-8433.
