VFW ladies collect items for troops

The women from the Fallbrook VFW Auxiliary and the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary have teamed together to support the troops in Iraq. The ladies will collect items until June 30; donations can be left at the box in the hospital gift shop or in the one at the VFW at 1175 Old Stage.

Items needed include ChapStick, suntan lotion, beef jerky, nuts, hard candy, dried fruit, pre-moistened wipes, eyewash and the like. For more information, call (760) 728-8784.
