La Paloma students turn planters into art

Mrs. Smith and Mrs. McGregor’s fourth grade classes learned the process of turning an unattractive planter into a beautiful planter through the process of mosaic. Using broken tiles, sea glass, glass pebbles and rocks, the classes first glued all the products onto the planter and then, using grout, finished the planters. It was a great deal of work and effort but everyone was quite pleased with the finished products.
