Volunteers, organizations needed for corn maze

TEMECULA — Groups looking for community service hours or a way to give back to the military are invited to volunteer with Big Horse Feed & Mercantile for their Eighth Annual Corn Maze. Every weekend in October will offer a different theme and portions of all monies raised will be donated to the Camp Pendleton YMCA.

Volunteers are needed for everything from cashiers and parking attendants to security and cleanup crews. Four- and eight-hour shifts are available. Groups and organizations interested in volunteering will also receive a donation to their organization by the Corona family, owners of Big Horse Feed.

Nonprofit organizations are also invited to participate in the Grand Finale All-American Carnival, scheduled for October 27-28. A 10”x10” space will be available for each organization to create a carnival event. One hundred percent of the money raised at each booth will be donated back to that respective organization.

The Corn Maze hosts thousands of people over the course of the four-weekend event. For more information regarding volunteer or organization opportunities at the Corn Maze events, please call Barb Langdon with Panache Events at (951) 551-8818.
