Chamber schedules workshop on new Health Codes

The Board of Directors of the Fallbrook Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a training workshop, co-sponsored with the County Health Department, on the new CalCode State Health Code for July 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Fallbrook Public Utilities District Board Room, 990 East Mission Road.

The new Health Code will become effective in July. The event will be conducted by the County Department of Environmental Health and is directed at all restaurant operators and the food service industry. More than 60 letters of invitation have gone out to Fallbrook businesses affected by the new Health Code.
