St. John's Episcopal credits community for success of benefit

We of St. John’s Episcopal Church would like to thank the people of Fallbrook for making our “Used Treasures Sale” on June 9 such a great success. From the sale of gently used articles donated by the community, we were able to contribute $1,600 to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society on Camp Pendleton. This great nonprofit organization has been at work since 1904 helping Sailors, Marines and their families overcome temporary financial hardship.

It is nice to know that “Support Our Troops” is not a hollow slogan in the town of Fallbrook. As a church that has been a part of this community for 115 years, we continue to thank God for the generosity and goodwill of its citizens.
