The Fallbrook Garden Club wants to thank the garden owners who opened their beautiful gardens to make our June 9 Garden Tour so successful. The seven gardens, all located in Fallbrook, and the La Paloma School were a wonderful example of the diversity of plants that can flourish in North San Diego County.
The Village Square was the location for much activity in the morning as local vendors, Santa Margarita Nursery, Mariscal Cactus & Succulents, Advanced Gloves and The Glass Ranch, who offered garden art, a tremendous variety of plants, garden gloves and beautiful hand-blown glass pieces for sale.
Added thanks go to our local Albertsons and Major Market for the donation of bottled water to distribute during the tour. The raffle prizes attracted lots of participation and the community came out to enjoy a beautiful day.
We also want to thank those of you who came from various locations throughout San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties. The tour was a tremendous success as over 350 people enjoyed the gardens and Village Square activities. To all of you who participated, we say thank you and hope to see you next year.
