Charles A. Gallagher

Charles A. Gallagher, 81, passed away July 1, 2007, in Fallbrook, CA. Born June 21, 1926, in Morristown, NJ, he was a resident of Fallbrook for 17 years and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Community.

Mr. Gallagher served in the US Navy during WWII, graduated with the Class of 1951 from Manhattan College in New York City and worked as a manager for CRETEX Companies, Inc., from which he retired in 1992. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Board for the American Pipe Association in 1980 and 1981.

Mr. Gallagher was preceded in death by brother Robert Gallagher and sister Pat McCann. He is survived by Betty Gallagher, his wife of 60 years; daughters Maryanne Gallagher, Glendale, and Patricia Gallagher, Temecula; son Charles R. Gallagher, Stamford, CT; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Sue Gallagher, Santa Rosa; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fallbrook. There will be a private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Fallbrook Hospital Hospice, 624 E. Elder St., Fallbrook, CA 92028.
