Old-Fashioned Barn Sale coming

Note on the calendar for July 28:

• Don’t worry about breakfast

• Go to the Barn Sale

On the morning of Saturday, July 28, get your family up and around, pile into the car and head for the Pancake Breakfast and Old-Fashioned Barn Sale at the Fallbrook Historical Society’s new barn (same address as the museum), 260 Rockycrest (off South Mission). Not only will you be able to enjoy breakfast out but you can browse through a bunch of bargains and, in the process, help preserve Fallbrook’s history.

From 7 to 10 a.m. Explorers with North County Fire Protection District will be cooking pancakes and sausage, which will be served with juice or coffee for $5. The Barn Sale starts at 8 a.m.

Why not take this opportunity to clean out your house and garage and donate some good useable items you don’t need anymore to a great cause? Consider donating them to this sale. Find new treasures for yourself and let others have the opportunity to buy and enjoy what you’ve donated!

The Historical Society welcomes good household items, antiques, appliances, tools, jewelry, outdoor furniture, kitchenware, bikes, toys, plants, flowers and the like. You’ll be given a tax-deductible receipt. Drop off your items on any Wednesday or Thursday (between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum) before the sale on July 28.

If an item you wish to donate is too large for you to bring in, just call (760) 728-2546 or (760) 723-4125 and they will send someone out to pick it up!
