Car wash to benefit Parker scholarship fund

FALLBROOK — A group of high school students from Fallbrook Presbyterian Church are hosting a car wash Sunday, July 15, in hopes of raising money to contribute to the Kari Sue and Keira Lyn Parker Memorial Scholarship Fund. The car wash will take place at the Happy Jug Liquor store in town from noon to 6 p.m. There will be a $10 base fee for the exterior wash; further donations will be gratefully accepted.

“Matt and Kari Parker have given so much to our community; this is the least that we can do to help alleviate the pain of this tragedy,” a representative from the group said. “Our hearts are broken for the entire Parker family and we hold them in our prayers.”
