Silvergate residents hold art show

Lillian Krug, a resident of Silvergate Retirement Home in Fallbrook, displays her assorted art

projects. A recent resident art show was held at Silvergate with more than 20 residents showcasing their artistic talents. There was quite a variety displayed – oil paintings, watercolors, calligraphy, digital photography, china painting, needlepoint, counted cross-stitch, dress design, quilting, knitting, crocheting, toile painting, rug hooking, millenary work, sewing, clay work, looming, stained glass and oil painting on petrified wood. With such a variety of media, this show was extremely interesting and many were amazed at how many talented residents are living at Silvergate. There are quite a few residents who are still actively pursuing their art projects!
