Angel Society installs new board

FALLBROOK — The Executive Board of the Angel Society was installed at a mock wedding ceremony created by Judy Messina and Linda Van Buskirk at their June directors meeting.

The following directors were installed in positions that conduct the operation of the Thrift Shop: Marilyn Miller, staffing; Olive Brasso, supplies; Gloria Seelye and Veryl Mitchell, courtesy; Rita Pankey, historian; Lila Sandschulte and Dee Yetter, boutique; Billie Foli, publicity; Nancy Chapman, directory; Jackie Edgerton and Susan Coughlin, books and games; Bonnie Bell, jewelry; Judy Messina, treasures; Judith Haggard, yardage and yarn; Betty Pierce and Jean Dooley, holidays; Linda Van Buskirk, car insurance/badges; Marnie Mifflin, Veryl Mitchell and Billie Foli, philanthropy committee; and Donna Boren, membership committee.

The meeting was held at the home of Connie and Don Loeschner and followed by a poolside barbecue dinner attended by spouses and guests of the board members. Former board members who continue to support the organization as sustaining members were recognized as special guests: Past Presidents Anne Kroeze, Linda Heald, Arlyne Ingold, Wilma Fellows, Ailsa Benjamin, Mary Anne Atherton, Vivian Bulick and Gleam Lewis. Honored guests Richard Levering, CPA, and Vince Ross, Realtor, were thanked for their services donated to the organization.
