Firefighters train in live-fire setting

Firefighters exit a trailer used to conduct live-fire training by North County Fire Protection District. The training took place June 27-29. Due to the lack of rain over the last few years, rather than burning down a house, the district has hired North Tree Fire Inc. to provide and operate a live fire in a converted semi-truck trailer. This portable facility uses propane gas.
