Wishing Mr. Callahan the best

I just wanted to say that I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Callahan’s condition [“Paulette is a true angel,” Village News, Opinion, 6/28/07]. I was lucky enough to meet him one day while he was walking his dog, “Prince Kelly,” in the neighborhood we share and he was warm and friendly. I was quick to recognize him from “Charles in Charge,” since I was a huge fan of the show as a kid. I wish the best for him and his family and will have him in my prayers.
