Jaxine C. "Jackie" Litchfield

Jaxine C. “Jackie” Litchfield, 79, died July 6, 2007, in Fallbrook, CA. Born September 21, 1927, in Oakland, CA, she was a resident of Fallbrook for 23 years.

In 1954, she and husband Bernie moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Newport Beach, CA, where they raised their family, retiring to Fallbrook in 1984.

Mrs. Litchfield was a member of the Fallbrook Angel Society, Bonsall Women’s Club, Encore Club and Fallbrook Hospital Chapter Senior Circle. She also served on the board of the Fallbrook Village Homeowners Association for the first 14 years.

She loved to travel, camp in the motor home, play bridge and make new friends. She led a very active social life.

Mrs. Litchfield is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bernard and son Thomas. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Susan and Donald Emory, Fallbrook; grandchildren Cindy Emory Jaymes, Santa Rita, Guam, Marcie Emory Kea, Fallbrook, Chad Emory, Queen Creek, AZ, Nathan Litchfield, Fallon, NV, and Katie Litchfield, Spring Creek, NV; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the home of Don and Susie Emory.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Heart or Cancer Association of your choice.
