RiverWatch meeting tonight

Today, July 19, a presentation will be made at 7 p.m. at the Rancho Monserate clubhouse to anyone interested in knowing the status of various development projects that have the potential for adversely affecting the lives of North San Diego County residents.

Topics on the agenda include the Gregory Canyon Landfill, Rosemary’s Mountain Quarry, the US Marines Exercise in Gregory Canyon and various planned developments in the San Luis Rey Watershed.

Although this is a general membership meeting for RiverWatch, anyone interested may come, listen and ask questions.

The clubhouse is located at 4650 Dulin Road in Fallbrook just south of the Rainbow Water District office. Also, opportunities will be provided at this meeting for anyone wishing to become more involved in a myriad of environmental issues.
