Sharon K. Meers, 65, passed away July 14, 2007, in Fallbrook, CA. Born May 30, 1942, in Waterloo, IA, she was a resident of Bonsall for 41 years.
Mrs. Meers retired in 2000 from her position as an administrative assistant for North County Fire District, Fallbrook. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and their choir and a member of Bonsall Women’s Club and Curves.
Mrs. Meers was preceded in death by her father Elwood Holdridge and stepfather Leo Koller. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Robert Meers, Bonsall; mother Deloris Koller, Hesperia; daughter and son-in-law Ranel and GySgt Charles Van Deraa (USMC Ret.), Kingland, GA; sons and daughter-in-law Ronnie Meers, Lebanon, OR, and Randy and Kay Meers, Temecula; sister Linda Taylor, Maui, HI; brothers and sisters-in-law Ron and Judy Holdridge, Rancho Cucamonga, and Gregg and Sharon Holdridge, Aguanga; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Interment at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery will follow the service.
