William F. Pearson

William F. Pearson was born in Mullen, NE, on April 20, 1931, the son of Fritz and Myrtle Pearson. He attended Kearney State Teacher’s College and then served with the US Army, where he was stationed in Detroit.

He was married to Norma Ballinger of Alliance, NE. They moved to California with their family in 1963 and spent 31 years in the Fallbrook area, where he was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for 28 years. During this time, “Bill” also owned and operated an avocado grove out of Rainbow. After retiring, they moved to Hemet, CA, in 2001.

Bill is survived by his wife, Norma; daughters Leslie Ingold, Gig Harbor, WA, Kimberley Kinman, Fallbrook, CA, and Danna Dalsimer, San Clemente, CA; son William Pearson, Jr., Anza, CA; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Dent and Marlene Marshall and brother Donald Pearson, all of Mullen; and sister Mary Worrall, Worland, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Pearson, Fallbrook.

Bill passed away on July 7, 2007. Funeral services will be held in Hemet at The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. on July 21. Burial will be in the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
