'Art of the Chair' at Brandon Gallery

FALLBROOK — Brandon Gallery, a nonprofit branch of the Fallbrook Village Association, is hosting a new event, “The Art of the Chair.” Vintage and newer chairs are transformed into fine art by local artists and will be showcased through early September in the windows of businesses along Main, Alvarado and Hawthorn.

All are encouraged to bid on their favorite chairs at the auctions held at Brandon Gallery on September 15. There will be both a silent auction (2 to 5 p.m.) and a live auction (viewing 5:30 to 6 p.m.; auction 6 p.m.).
